Thunderobot Launches ZERO Air Gaming Laptops with Intel Panther Lake at CES 2026

Thunderobot has officially unveiled its new ZERO Air gaming laptops at CES 2026, marking a key expansion outside the Chinese market and capturing attention with an ultra-thin, performance-focused design. Powered by Intel’s next-gen Panther Lake Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA RTX 50-series laptop GPUs, the ZERO Air stands out for its portability and premium internals in a gamer-centric shell.

At just 15.9 mm thickness and 1.58 kg in weight, the ZERO Air pairs slim form with powerful hardware. Users will find an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H—boasting 16 cores and clocking up to 4.9 GHz—alongside an RTX 5070 GPU. It features DDR5 memory with up to 32 GB support and dual PCIe Gen 4 SSD slots, which should be sufficient for both speed and multitasking needs. Thunderobot also highlights the cooling system: dual fans and a vapor chamber, ensuring thermal management in long sessions.

From a build perspective, Thunderobot seems to lean into modern aesthetics while keeping functionality in mind. The ZERO Air comes with a 15.3-inch QHD+ OLED display running at 165 Hz, offering high-resolution visuals and smooth refresh for gaming or creative work. Meanwhile, the company also revealed its larger ZERO 18 Pro flagship with a QHD 240 Hz screen and RTX 5090 support, signaling its aim at high-end users.

These laptops seem tailored for gamers and professionals who want power on the go without sacrificing portability. Students, esports players, and streamers alike might find the ZERO Air’s compact design and solid GPU capabilities well-matched with their daily needs. Those requiring peak performance can explore the Pro option for content creation or extended gaming roadtrips.

For tech enthusiasts in the UAE and Gulf, where compact performance machines are increasingly popular, Thunderobot’s entry could add fresh competition to regional markets. While local availability isn’t confirmed, it’s worth keeping an eye on platforms like Datcart for updates on when (or if) Thunderobot’s ZERO Air devices arrive in the Gulf region.
